100% Praò SUP Warranty

The 100% Praò SUP warranty has three different components that each protect you in their own way. Please read the various information below to understand your warranty and how to benefit from it.

Your three warranties

Upon reception  :

Covers visible manufacturing issues at first glance.

You have 14 days from receipt of your new board to benefit from it.

Your warranty applies if  :

​​

  • You notice upon reception an anomaly in the colors of your Eva mat, that the fin box (or the fin itself), that the paddle, the leash or the manual pump have anomalies.

  • Some items are missing in your box.

  • If you use your board properly and follow the maintenance instructions and you notice a manufacturing anomaly or defect.

Leak warranty  :

​

Covers your board in case of leaks.

You have 1 year from receipt of your new board to benefit from it.

Your warranty applies if  :

​​

  • You use your board properly and respecting the maintenance instructions and that the leak is due to an anomaly or a manufacturing defect.

Accessories warranty  :

​

Covers fabrication issues.

You have 30 days from receipt of your new accessories to benefit from them.

Your warranty applies if  :

​​

  • You use your accessories properly and respecting the maintenance instructions and that the breakage is due to an anomaly or a manufacturing defect.

How to benefit
from your warranty 
  • Download, print and complete the online form below and send it before the end of your warranty date to infolavaguesup@gmail.com along with photos or videos of the problem in question. Please be as specific as possible in your description so that we can quickly assess your situation.

  • Each of your three warranties have a different expiration date, be sure to examine your products before their respective expiration dates so that the warranties can apply.

 

We are experts and we are able to detect if the said issues are due to a misuse or negligence from your part.

The warranties are not applicable, if ...
  • The item shows prematured damages as a result of poor maintenance.

  • You accidentally lost a part (screw, fin, leash, paddle etc.)

  • Is damaged as a result of exposure to excessive heat or sun, was left inflated or uninflated car, without or with the carrying bag on a hot or cold day.

  • Is damaged as a result of air transport.

  • Is damaged as a result of negligence, forgetting, an accident during handling, transport in the car or while walking out of the water.

  • Has been loaned or rented to a third party.

  • Is damaged as a result of impact in rocks and / or snagging in the bottom of a low-level body of water.

  • Is damaged in extreme conditions such as surfing, paddling big waves or a SUP race.

  • Has been altered, modified or has been repaired by a person other than an employee who provides technical support for Praò SUP boards.

  • Has been improperly stored or folded. (heat, cold, humidity)

  • Has suffered damage as a result of an incident such as fire, flood or theft.

  • Shows abnormal usages. 

  • Has esthetic defects in PVC (small folds, pencil marks, small spots of glue) the boards are assembled by hand, these are things that can happen.

  • If it's a second-hand board or accessories (the warranty only applies to the first buyer).

Our return policy

If you wish to return or exchange a Praò product, contact us at infolavaguesup@gmail.com

 

  • Your request must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • The products must be in their original box and intact.

  • Return costs are not covered by La Vague SUP, however during an exchange we will cover the shipping costs for your replacement item.
